Snowy: Lunch Rush – The Madcap World of Food Service
After searching for treasures in Africa, the Middle East and the Mayan Jungle in Snowy: Treasure Hunter 2, Snowy (the lovable polar bear who can’t sit still) is back for another adventure in Snowy: Lunch Rush. This time he explores “the madcap world of food service.”
That’s how Alawar Entertainment presents it: “Snowy: Lunch Rush drops you into the madcap world of food service and challenges you to run the best restaurant in town.”I am not going to focus on the fact that working in the food service industry sucks to high heavens, I am going to focus on the game.
Snowy: Lunch Rush is a pretty amusing game that will keep you entertained for some time. You are put in charge of a restaurant and you have to manage things like seating your customers, getting your customers the food they want, and earning money to upgrade your eatery and stay in business.
There are 60 levels to go through, levels presented as day – so basically you have to survive in the “madcap world of food service” for 60 days. Things are pretty easy in the first days and they get more and more complicated as time passes.
The game features an Endless mode that you can unlock by doing well in the game. In Endless mode you can purchase faster stoves, bigger tables and a better sound system.
Should you decide to give Snowy: Lunch Rush a try, you must download it (the download weighs in at 18.6MB) and install it on your Windows-powered computer. Once you are done installing the game (the installation process is simple and straightforward, so it shouldn’t pose a problem), you can play the game free of charge for a trial period of 60 minutes. Be careful during the installation process though as you will be asked to change your default search provider, you will be asked if you want to change your homepage, and you will be asked if you want to install Game Box (contains Alawar Entertainment’s catalog of games). If you don’t want to change your homepage or search engine, or if you don’t want to install the Game Box, make sure to opt out.
